I am now 30 years old.
I thought I'd take some time and write down some of the more memorable things that have happened to me in this time.
Education
I've long believed in the value of education, but have issues with the forced-fed nature of primary and secondary school. Add to that my early run-ins with authority figures in those schools, from being lifted by my throat and pinned against a wall in second grade by the principal of the school, from being physically assaulted with a meter stick in 9th grade by the vice-principal. Needless to say, I have 'issues' with authority. The grand culmination of which was my expulsion in my second semester of grade 11. I returned the following semester and finished grade 12 (around 1998) with a total of ~60-70 credits, remarkably short of the 100 needed to earn a high school diploma. Several years later I wrote my GED scoring in the 90's for all subjects. That same year I attended CDI college and earned a college diploma in Network and Internet Support.
